Mormons in Germany

By the sudden intrusion of the arm of the law a premature end. was put on the evening of July 22 to an attempt to popularise Mormonism in the German capital. A community of Latter 'Day Saints has existed in Berlin since 1823, but the tolerance extended to it lias been of the same grudging type as that which all 'but excludes American agricultural t produce from the German frontiers, and its progress has not been very hopeful. So' Mr M'Kay, head of the Mormon Church in Central decided to undertake a proselytising mission from his headquarters at Zurich, and on July 22 descended on Berlin with a band of twenty apostles.
