MASONRY IN LEVIN
A NOTABLE GATHERING
_ There was a very large gathering or freemasons present at the Horowhenua Lodge last evening, the business being the installation of Bro. J. G. Hankins as W.M., and Investiture of Officers. Visiting brethren were strongly .represented from all parts. The" ceremony of installation was carried out very impressively by R.W. Bro. Mon-v.'eff Prov. G.M.; assisted by R.W Bro'. Malcolm Niccoll, E.G.M. and G.Sec • M.W. Bro. H. J. Williams, P.G.M.,' and other Grand Lodge officers. R. W. Bro. Seaton, G.D.C., was present as director of ceremonies. W Bro. C. B. Easther, P.M., invested the officers for the ensuing year as follows:—Bro. R, .J. Jones, t.P.M.; Bro. Walker, S.W.; Bro. J. Whit-t|.-ker, J.W.; Bro. Blenkhorn. S.D.; fro- J .Dovime, J.D.; Biro.'Shaw, LG.; Bro'. B. R. Gardener, Sec. : Bro. C. B. Easther, P.M., treas. Bro. F. G. Roe, Chaplain; Bro. F Pink, S.S.; Bro. E. Henderson, J.S.: Bro. J. Malcolm, .TyJer. After the ceremony was concluded a banquet was held, at which the usual Masonic toasts were duly honoured, and a very pleasant' programme of musical items was contributed by visiting brethren.
