As previously mentioned, there are several wayside stations at which one nr more of the above trains will stop whenever passengers dosire to ho set down or taken up. The Auckland express reachea i'alnierstxin, from the North, at l'J.l/1 p.m. and arrives at Thorn!hi at' 4.7 p.m. The Auckland oxleaves Thorndon at 12.15 p.m. and reaches Palinerston at 3.35 p.m
