The Tennis Association has considered tho .English Association's decision not to send a team to compete for the Davis Cup unless a (reasonable guarantee is fWtihcoining, and has decided that no guarantee shall be given. A cable lias been sent to the English Association to this effect, also informing, the latter that the previous cable offer to arrange matches in addition to the Davis Cup and allow the English Association half profits is still open.
