Potatoes are now oeering more freely from South, holders n'o doubt recognising the risk of Australian importations absorbing the North Island demand. -The sale for seed up-to-dates has fallen off considerably lately, but excellent quality are still available. There is fair enquiry for well-ha.rvested local grown brown Spanish onions, and; stocks here are considerably less than was the case a week ago. We h'ave litleohango to report in connection with the vegetable market. All good quality lines meet excellent demands. We have special enquiries lor ■regular supplies of first class separator -butter in pats, and can ensure an excellent market to a regular supplier. Large quantities of oggs are coming to hand, and meeting a ready sale at lid per doz. Honey is very fully supplied, and anything but the best quality is very hard; to move, even at veyr much .reduced rates. We 'have keen enquiries for walnuts.
