Tlio armament will consist of two 16.7 guns, which will cany a projectile weighing O-lOlbs mounted in a single turret amidships and turning in all directions.

The normal speed will be nineteen knots, with forced draught increasing to 27 knots. Tlioy will be driven by foili motors, each of COOO horse power. The vessels will cost considerably less t'ban Dreadnoughts and will yet be invulnerable to the 12incli fire of the Dreadnought 12inch guns.
