By the word "registration" is. of course, understood! the svslem of registration ot voters in Great Britain, which begins the first week in .lune and continues until the 2."> th of August, which is the last day for canvassing and making claims. During this period practically every householder and lodger is called upon by the canvassers of the various political associations, and the claims and testimonies are suhsef|iicntly considered by a revising barrister in each constituency. To discontinue the work of reg.iktration at the present juncture, would be to throw the whole political machinery out of joint, and givr on enormous advantage to the opposing candidate.)
