WELLINGTON, August 25. Table potatoes still continue to rise in price, and supplies are coming to hand very slowly. There is, liowever, a fair supply of Canterbury grown seed (up-to-dates) which are coming to hand in excellent order. JiOca, lonions are now on the market, and values are weaker in consequence. Of vegetablse ,cauliflower and cabbage are easier, while roots of ah kinds, except carrots, are about the same as last week. Table carrots are in over-supply. Apples are in excellent demand. Early rhubarb has this week been sold by us at from 6d to 7d per lb. The egg market has almost touched bedrock, with very largo suppTTes coming to hand. Grain is unchanged,fn values. Honey is plentiful in sfifpply, and slow to sell. Beeswax is r.\ goo demand at Is 6d for the best lines. Poultry is in fair enquiry. Good business has been done ir forward orders for superphospate which we can supply at £4 15s per to nin ton lots, subject to the orders reachinig us early.
