The deceased was wearing a wedding ring and a gold brooch set with sapphires and diamonds. The body has not been identified. TttLIRU, Tin's Day. Tihe Christchtirch to Timaru road ■race began this morning jn fine weather, and with a favourable breeze. There wore 156 starters. Tim first man got away at 8.20 a.m., and the scratch man at nine.
