[PER PRESS ASSOCIATION/J CHRISTCHURCH, August 20. Tn the Supreme Court Mr Justice Chapman dismissed the appeals of the Town Clerk against the Magistrate's decision in the cases Where alleged breaches of by-laws regarding hoardings, and a skysign had been dismissed. His Honour held that the provision of the Municipal Corporations Act, upon which the bylaw was based was not so worded as to give power to deal with devices for advertising which had been set up in the .past.
