DISASTER OFF BOULOGNE
[dt elkctric telegraph-copyright.j [per press association.] (Received This Dav, 9.30 n,m.) LONDON, August 20. A Dutch steamer collided with and sank a steam trawler off Boulogne. Seven persons were drowned.

SYDNEY, August 20. the steamer Canonbar collided nth the Ulimaroa, while the latter ras lying at the wharf. The Ulimaroa is undamaged and he Canonbar only slightly.

The steamer Idirani was loaded with coal and ready to depart from Newcastle when a fire was discovered smouldering among 700 tons of coal in the starboard bunker. During the day, despite a lar.ce quantity of water poured in '" the hre steadily gained ground and threatened to spread to the .main ea rgo. ,
Much gas generated and caused wo explosions.
