I'.Vii.M ERSTON NOKTH STOCK SALE. Moss s Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report:—At our Palmerston North sale, held on Thursday. August 25th, we had a small yarding ol sheep ati'.l a heavy yarding of cattle. Sheep wore at good demand, and every pen was sold at auction. \\c quote: Mixed hoggets 10s (kl, 10s Tel to lis 3d; ewes with lambs lis lOd 1 . The yarding of cattle consisted mostly of springing heifers anci cows and: some good pens of weaneis. There was a keen demand foi all classes, and we have to report a total clearance with the exception ;:•! a few pens. We quote:— Fat cows, £ 1 2s (id, £5 7s (3d to £0 15s; store cows, £2 (is, £3, £3 lis, £3 15s to £4 2s (id: springing heifers, £3 7s fid, r:r> 2s fid to £5 10s ; springin gcows, £ I to £7 '2s 6d ; weaners, 295, 335; bulls, £2 to £3 ILjj 15nionth £2 15s.
