SUMMARY OF THE NEW TIMB TABLE. The Alterations and amendment* to the railway time table have reduced many a citizen to the Btate of John Jones, costermonger, some time of London, made illustrious by a song writer who sang' of him thai "since Jack Jones came into a uttle bit of oof 'e dunno where e' are! Tho experiences of varying time tables during the past three or four months have left dubious impression! in the minds of citizens, _ and quite a number have missed their passages through confusing last months times with those of tho presont. Local residents may ascertain which are tho trains which enter for their towns, and may then work out, from tlie above figures, the time which the train will talco to travel from the station immediately preceding. The Auckland express reaches Palmersfotn, from tho North, at 12.10 p.m. and arrives at Thorndon at 4.7 p.m. The Auckland express leaves Tliomdon at 12.15 p.m. and readies Palmerston at 3.35 p.rn
