SUMMARY OF THE NEW TIMS TABLE. The alterations and amendment* to the railway time table have reduced many a citizen to the state of John Jones, costermonger, some time of London, made illustrious by a song writer who sang of him that "since Jack Jonea came into a irttla bit of oof 'e dunno where e are I The experiences of varying time tables during the past three or four months have left dubious impression* in the minds of citizens, and quite a number have missed their passage* through confusing laet months times with those of the present. Residents fthould acquaint themselves with the train* which do stop at their partioular stations. * 9» • "*• ••?• • "? Local residents may ascertain which are the trains which eater for their towns, and may then work out, from the above figures, the time which the .train will take to travel from the station immediately preceding. The Auckland express reaches Palmerston, from the North, at 12.40 p.m. and arrives at Thorndun at 4.7 p.m. The Auckland express leaves Thorndon at 12.15 p.m and reaches Palmerston at 8.35 p.m
