To Australia, South Sea Islands, Canada, etc., each newspaper Id; to United Kingdom, Id by direct steamer, by other routes Id for first Bozs, and id each additional 2ozs. To other countries, for the first 4ozs Id, each additional 2oz Jd. The weight o'f newspapers for transmission to Australia and British New Guinea at the Id rate is restricted to 20ozs. for each copy; for each lOozs or fraction thereof additional id. MAGAZINES. Magazines (not registered), all places, Id each 2ozs. Magazines (registered), within the Dominion, hi for each 16ozs or traction thereof; Australia (except Queensland and West Australia), under 2ozs, Jd; '2ozs to Bozs, Id; onch . additional 4ozs, jd; Queensland, West Australia, and other places, Jd each 2oze. POSTAL NOTES. One shilling. Is 6d, 2s, 2s 6d, id; 3s and ss, Id; 10s up to 20s, 2d. COMMERCIAL PAPERS. Town (for accounts, etc., only), id if not exceeding ioz, or Id for first 4ozs, and id for each succeeding 2ozs. Inland, Id for first 4 ozs and id for each succeeding 2 ozs. AH other places 2Jd for first lOnzs, and id for each succeoding 2ozß. REPLY COUPONB. As a means of enabling the sender of a letter addressed to 8 place abroad to prepay the postage on a reply, the Department issuet roply coupons on payment of a fe£ of 3d. These coupons may bo oxchanged for a postage stamp of the value of 2id in any country which adopts tho scheme. BOOKS AND PRINTED PAPERS. All places, id for cadi 2ozs. MONEY ORDERS. Fp to £13, 3d; above £5 to CIO, 0(1; above £10 to £1/5, 9d; above CI S to £20, Is; above £20 to £25, ts 3d; above £15 to c\Q, Is Gd; above £30 to £35, Is 9d; above £35 to £40, 2s. British Postal Orders for fixed sums from Gd up to 20s may be procured at tho principal Money Order Offices in New Zealand. REGISTRATION. Universal fee of 2d to all place* The sender o a registered article may ohtnin aciuiowledgnicnt of its duo receipt on payment in advance if 2|d. PATTERNS AND SAMPLES. Inland, not exceeding 2ozs, id, over sozs, same as for other places. All other places, not exceeding Bozs Id, every additional 2ozs id.
