Loudon wool sales is .:i.-> follows :■ — Tlit' sales closed with great competition for best-quality wri-ols, which aro in small supply, and an active demand for coarse orossbrcls of all grades light in grease, and live decline in price has recovered. A total of 25,500 hales of New Zealand wool was held over. The estimated values are: Superior merino. Is Id to Is '!Jd ; medium. 10} d to Is Oid ; inferior. 7Jd to lOil; fine crossbrods, all grades, Is 1-Jd to Is Id; medium ornssbreds. 11(1 to Is Id: coarse crossbrods, all graders, BJd to lOJcl.

Ridding was spirited, and competition exceptionally keen. Kor all Jersey stock full prices were realised. The whole of the farm implements and vehicles wwe -•old at very satisfactory prices. The farm of 32 acres was sold to a "Wellington buyer at £50 per acre.
