At the liondou wool sales, conipared with the May sales, Merino combings close;! linn and unchanged. Short faulty declined ten per cent. Fine greasy eres.sbrecs were unchanged and inferior advanced o per cent. Scoured slipes worn from par to a penny cheaper. Lambs declined 5 per centum. The tone of the market is cheerful and prospects are good. United St.-hs trade is improving. Mooraki clip, top I'IUI, average 12.\d. During the series Rl.oOO bales were sold for the Home market, 41,700 for Continental markets and 300 for the American. •Tl.oOO bales --ve held over.
