Mr Walsh directed the stage and played "Slieri<'au" in the American production of "Tom Moore," and with Mr Andrew Mack, journeyed to this country two years ago, after the dishandinont of Mr Mack's company at Perth (W. A.). Mr AYalsh organised and brought to New Zealand a. company of players, and for nine months of lust year confined his operations to Auckland province, playing a repert' ire of fourteen pieces. After a brief holiday in the United States he returned, in April last with new plays and an ambition to conquer new territory.
