AUCKLAND, This Day. ■A sensation has been caused in the Manurewa. district by outrages upon tho dairy herd of Mr C. H. Lupton, farmer. Four cows have died. An examination of the carcases showed that all had apparently lw?en poisoned. Two of tlie animals Iwid also been stabbed. But for the evidence of stabbing, the conclusion might have been drawn that tho herd had been eating some poisonous foddor.
