LEVIN BOROUGH COUNCIL. SPECIAL ORDER MAKING A WATERWORKS BY-LAW. "pUBLTC NOTICE is hereby -iL given (1) That in pursuauco of powers in that behalf conferred by " Tho Municipal Corporations Act, 1908," the Levin Borough Council, at a Special Sleeting, held on Monday, tho 4th day of July 1910, did niiiko and ordain (by Special Order) a By-law relating and pertaining to tho supply of water to consumers, from the Waterworks constructed by the said Council, the said By-law to be known as " Tho Waterworks Bylaw, 1910" ; (2) That the said Watorwjrks By-law contains provisions as to: (a) Defining tho terms "ordinary .supply,'' ''extraordinary .supply.'' "waterworks," "consumer," etc., otc.; (b) Bcgulating the use of the w:;ter for domestic purposes and determining the maximum charges for tlij same; (c) Herniating tho duality, dimensions, and chargMtf.elating to pipes, fittings an<l Fixing charges for "extraordinary supplies" and regulating and controlling services thus classed; (e) Regulating tho supply and charges to consumers outside the Borough ar:'a ; (f) Providing for the licensing of Plumbers, fixing annual fee for licenses and generally in relation to plumbing work; (g) Providing for tho prevention of injury, damago or pollution of any part of the Wateiworks; and (h) Providing for tho appointment of a Water Inspector, and regulating and authorising inspections.
