Wo have qpeiied up a very favourable <trado in tallow, and farmers' lots ,are_ strongly recommended. Fruit is unchanged from la.st week, with short supply. Business in grain, chaff, and hay is dull, and if the winter continues mild no increase in values can be looked for. Wo havo still_ a large stoc kof seconds wheat, which must be cleared this coming week ait low prices. Oheeso is linn, imd in short supply. Tho local butter trade ;is jnfct now disorgaaiiseld through the "cutting" now going on, but an early improvement is certain. Entries are inviited foi purebred poultry sale to bo held shortly.
