Corporal Bad ice received an ovation, and was carried in a. chair. Hitherto only Major Pollock kid won the gold and silver medals together. W. Masefield, a XW Zeafonder (ol the Pelcrus Sounds Riflo Club) with 321, won an £8 pri/.e. L&rd Roberts, who had watched the match, congratulated the colonials who took part in it. ( Earl Orewe, Seoret.iry for thv Colonies, presented the prizes. Lord Clieylesmore announced that an effort would he muufe tr..send a team to Australia next yonr.
