Paderw.ski received an ovation at Cracow, one of tho principal towns of Austria, where he unveiled a. colossal statute to King .Jagellon, a former Polish monarch on the occasion of the- sixth coiiitonary of the battle, of Tamienberg. The statue, which cost £20,000, was erected. Iry the famous pianist tit his own expense.
