pUKLIO NOTICE is hereby given (1) That ui pursuance of poH'er.s in that behalf eonfeirred by " Tho Municipal Corporations Act, 1908," the Levin Borough Council Y 'Special Meeting, held on Monday, the 4th day of July 1910, did make mud ordain (by Special Order) a By-law relating and pertaining to tho supply ol water to con,sinners, from the "Vi aterworks constructed by the said Council, the said Ry-laW to lie known as "Tho Waterworks Bylaw, 1910 '; (2) That tho said Waterworks By-law contains provisions as to: (a) Defining: the terms "ordinary ■supply,, "extra o rdi u.a ry si i ppl y," waterworks," "consumer," etc., t'.tc. ; (b) Regulating the use of the water for domestic purposes and detei mining the maximum charges for the same; (c) Regulating tho finality. dimensions, and charges relating to pipes, fittings and tans; (d) Fixing charge;; for " extraordinary supplies" and regulating ami controlling services thus classed; (e) Regulating t 1m- supply 'and charges "f> cor-'liners outside the Borough ■hea; (f) Providing for the licensing ol I'lumbers, fixing annual fee for licenses and generally in irelation to plumbing work; (g) Providing for tin* prevention of injury, damago or pollution (if any part of the Waterworks; and Hi) Providing for the appointment of a Water Inspector, and regulating and .authorising inspections.
