NEWSPAPERS. Within the Dominion, id for each newspaper. To Australia, South Sea Islands, Canada, etc., each newspaper Id; to United Kingdom, Id by direct steamer, by other routes Id for first Bozs, and id each additional 2ozs. To other countries, for the first 4ozs Id, each additional 2oz id. The weight o'f newspapers for transmission to Austra-
lia and British Now Guinea at tlie Id rate is restricted to 20ozs. for each copy; for each lOozs or fraction thereof additional id. MAGAZINES. Magazines (not registered), al! placcs, Id each 2ozs. REPLY COUPONS. As a means of enabling th< sender of a letter addressed to f place nbrnnd to prepay the postage on a reply, the Department issuei reply coupons on payment of a fet of 3d. These coupons inay be exchanged for a postage stamp of tht value of 2Jd in any country which adopts tho scheme.

Up to £5, 3d; above £5 to .£lO, <srl; above £10 to £15, 9d; above £15 to £20, Is; above £20 to £25, Is 3d; above F£s to Is 6d; above £30 to £35, Is 9d; above £35 to £10, 2s. British Postal Orders for fixed sums from 6d up to 20s may be procured at the principal Money Order Offices in Now Zealand.
