SUMMARY OF THE NEW TIME TABLE. The exporiencos of varying time tables during the past three or four months have left dubious impressions in the minds of citizens, and quite a number have missed their passages through confusing last, months times with those of tho pioso l l. No doubt there will be general preciation felt for tho sill)joinod summary of train times, which wilt he printed in "The Chronicle" from day to day, until familiarity cures the present doubtfulness with which residents in various localities are afflicted.
As previously mentioned, there ,j ro sovciiil wayside stations fit which one or more of the ftbove trains will stop whenever passengers (lft-'ire to bo set down or taken up. Local residents may ascertain which are the trains which enter for their towns, and may then work out, from the ahoyo figures, the time which the train will tako to travel from the. station immediately preceding. The Auckland express readies Palmerst*)n, from the North, at 12.10 p.m. and arrives at Thornd.m at 4.7 p.m. The Auckland express leaves Thorndon at 12.15 p.m. and Palmerston at 3.35 p.tr
