Some exrdlent debater: have been heard this winter at thu fortnightly meetings of the Levin Y.M C \ Debating Society. The attendances have been good, though not as oreail as tho merits of the debate deserved. A pleasing characteristic of some ol the debates has been the disposition of the young -people of the town to utter .their opinions. It is primarily for the good of the young folk that these debates are held, though it is true that the old on<|i learn a good deal from them too. Perhaps it is not known as widely as it should be that the dehates are open to everybody.
