Thunder storms and heavy rains have been very frequent during the last three days in the South of England, and in Germany. In several cases death was caused. One woman walking on a cliff at Heme iia.v (:in Kciflt) was struck by lightning 'through the medium of a large hatpin and received a severe shock. An infantry regiment at Konigsbriiek, in Saxony, was struck, and throe soldiers were killed, and ten were severely nnd five slightly injured.
