Local residents may ascertain which aro the trains which cater for their towns, and may then work out, from the nboyo figures, the time which the train will take to travel from tho station immediately preceding. The Auckland express roaches Palnicrston, from the North, at 12.'10 p.m. and arrives at Thnrndiin at 4.7 p.m. The Auckland express leaves Thorndon at I'i.lfi p.m. and roaches Palinerstnn at 3.35 p.m.
