ON THE WEST COAST. THE SEDDON MEMORIAL. [PER PRESS 18SO«UTION.] HOKITIKA, May 25. The. Premier and party arrived from the North at middiay. Tho weather is very favourable for this afternoon's ceremony of unveiling tho Westland Seuuon Memorial statue. Mr Seddou's figure is of white Carrara marble, and sitands about eight feeb high on a pedestal of polished groy granite, suitably inscribed. Tho figure, which is a good likeness, at present is voiled by tho Union Jack and the New Zealand flags which were used at the unveiling of the ■memorial tablet to Mr Seddon in St. Paul's, London, recently. The flags in question are now the property of Mrs Seddon, who is here for today's ceremony.
