I LAST FRIDAY'S PAIIADE A good deal o. .interest attached to tihe military para do at the reoowb memorial .service iin Levin. Details are now available. Tliey are as follow:— _ Staff: Major G. M. Burlinsoui (Third Wellington Battalion Junior Cadets), in command. Battalion bands (Training Farm): Brass band, Sergeant 'Lett ami twenty bandsmen; Pipe Band, four pi-pers. Senior Cadets (Boys' Training Farm): Acting-Lieutenant R. A. Hiirlinsi.n, one sergeant find twentysix cadets. 1 Company (Wonaroa), Third Wellington Battalion Junior Cadets: Captain EggeMon, Lieut. Gascoigne, four sergeants, one bugler, forty-eight cadets, Xo. 2 Company (Levin District High School), Third Wellington Battalion Junior Cadets: Acting-Cap-tain Harding, four sergeants, one bugler and forty-eight cadets. Twelve veterans, under the command of Major Liddle, late Scots Greys, had the place of honour immediately in the rear of the hand, and marched from Wonaroa. At the Arcadia the parade was Halted', arms reversed, tho ha ml plnved the funeral march "Garland of Flowers," and halted thirty yards opposite the platform, while the veterans marched to seats in front of the platform. The Training Farm Senior and Junior Cadets lined tihe east, of Oxford street, and the Levin District High School Cadets the west side. Arms were grounded during the service to enable all to take nart in the singing. While the Dead March in "Saul" was played the parade stood resting mi- arms reversed, and presented arms whilo Hip massed buglers sounded tho "Last Post."
