DEATH IN THE POT.
[per press association. 1 ] OHRISTCHUROH, This Day. Mrs Florence Lydia Thomas, 35 years of iage, wife of a blacksmith, residing ill Sydenham, died in hospital yesterday, as the result oi burns. ' She was making jam 011 "Wednesday morning, and when leaning over the pot her apron caught fire. She rushed out of the house, and when ia neighbour found her. her clothes had been almosttotally desbroyed. At the inquest the hospital surgeon stated that tl:'o deceased died from shock.
