SKIN AND HIDE SALE REL'OII

Abraham and Williams, Ltd., Wellington, report on their sale hold last Thursday as follows:—We offered a good catalogue of skins, hides and tallow to a large attendsince O'f buyers. Ridding was brisk for everything offered k'iikl prices remained on a par with those ruling at last sales. Wo quote:— Wool.—Only a few lots of rough fleece offered, which sold at to "id; locks, 3d.

Skins. —J-wools, G:{d to 7d; 1wools, lid; dead, (j|d; pelts, -id; lambs, 7d; shoiits ami inferior, 3d to 4:|d; butchers' half dry and green, good, Os 2d to (is Gd'to fis 10(1; lighiter, 5s 3d to 5s 9d; light, •Is 5d to 4s Dd ; shorn lambs, 3s 3d. Dalgcty and Co.'s report is as follows : —We report lwring held our usual fortnightly sale on Thursday afternoon, at Wellington, before the usual a.ttendanco of buyers. Catalogues showed about the same offerings as last sale and competition for all loits was keen, everything offered being sold at full values. Wool.—Prices on a par with late rates.
