Commander Peai'y lectured to an audience of 10,000 people at the Royal Albert Hall under the -auspices of the Royal Geographical Society, including many Admirals and travellers. A magnificent photograph illustrating the geographical features, 'the Eskimos and .pack ice, transportation difficulties, and the United States flag surmounting a mound of snow and ice representing the Xor-th Role, with the Eskimos with uplifted arms cheering Commander Peary, wns greeted with salvoes of applause. The narrative followed the lines of published accounts.
