The Wellington Racing Club• ha*, advised the Manawatu A. and P. Association of a grant of £25 for n .supplementary prize allotted to horse classes, in order to encourage the breading of horses. The prizes, which -are not to he confined to thoroughbred classes, will he allocated' in the next Spring Show schedule.
