A cablegram from London last night stated that the death has taken place of Miss Lottie Collins, music-hall singer, at one t'ime popular tor her song, " Ta-ra-ra-booin-de-ay." A Capetown cablegram states that an unusual scene occurred a. day or two ago ou Robben Island, at the entrance to Table Bay, where there is a lunatic asylum and leper colony. .Some of the lepers found a. sixtylour gallon keg of rum washed up ou the beach, and consumed it. Alteiiwards they ran amok, and the convict guards and officials had the utmost difficulty in quelling the outbreak. Three of tho lepers died as the result of their potations.
