a LETTERS AND LETTER CARDS. Letters within New Zealand, Id for the first 4oes or fraction thereof, and }d for each succeeding 2ozs or fraction i lereof. For Unitet States of Amerioa, It for each oa. or fraotion thereof (to include Pago Pago and Hawaiian Islands, Porto Rico and Alaska). For United Kingdom, British Possessions and other places enumerated in schedule at Post Office Id for each oz or fraotion thereof; for places not named, 2Jd for each oz., and lid for each succeeding oz. NEWSPAPERS. Within the Dominion, }d for each newspaper. To Australia, South Sea Islands, Canada, etc., each newspaper Id; to United Kingdom, Id by direct steamer, by other routeß Id for firßt Bozb, and Jd eaoh additional 2ozs. To other countries, for the first 4obb Id, each additional 2oz id. The weight o'f newspapers for transmission to Australia and British New Guinea at the Id rate is restricted to 20ozs. for each copy; for each lOozs or fraotion thereof additional Jd. MAGAZINES. Magazines (not registered), all places, Id each 2ozs. Magazines (registered), within the Dominion, Id for each lOozs or fraotion thereof; Australia (except Queensland and West Australia), under 2ozs, §d; 2ozs to Bozs, Id; each additional 4ozs, id; Queensland, Weßt Australia, and other places, id each 2ozs. POSTAL NOTES. One shilling, Is 6d, 2b, 2s 6d, id; 3s and ss, Id; 10s up to 20s, 2d. COMMERCIAL PAPERS. Town (for accounts, etc., only), id if not exceeding ioz, or Id for first '4ozs, and id for each succeeding 2ozs. Inland, Id for first 4 ozs and id for each succeeding 2 ozs. All other places 2£d for first lOozs, and id for eaoh succeeding 2ozs. REPLY COUPONS. As a means of enabling tht sender of a letter addressed to s place abroad to prepay the postage on a reply, the Department issuei reply coupons on payment of a fet of 3d. These coupons may be exchanged for a poßtage stamp of the value of 2id in any country which adopts the scheme. BOOKS AND PRINTED PAPERS. All placeß, id for each 2ozs. MONEY ORDERS. Up to £5, 3d; above £5 to £10, 6d; above £10 to £15, 9d; above £15 to £20, ls; above £20 to£2s, ls 3d; above /g") to £30, ls 6d; above £30 to _35, ls 9d; above £35 to £40, 2s. British Postal Orders for fixed sums from 6d up to 20s may be procured at the principal Money Order Offices in Now Zealand. REGISTRATION. Universal fee of 2d to all place* The sender of a registered article may obtain acknowledgment of its due receipt on payment in advance of 2id. PATTERNS AND SAMPLES.
