PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Horowhenua County Council, by virtue of the provisions in that behalf conferred by section 117 of "The Counties' Act, 1908." and section 50 of " Tito Rating Act, 1908," intends at a meeting to be held on Saturday, the 14th May, 1910, to strike the following rates in the several Ridings of the Horowhenua County, such rates to become due and payable on the Ist day of June, 1910, and to be for tho period from the Ist day of April, 1910, to the 31st day of March, 1911:— In the Tokomaru Riding a General Rate of 2-3rds of a penny in the £, and a Separate Rate of l-15th of a penny in the £ ; in tho WiroIcino Riding a General Rate of 7-Btlis of a penny in tho £, and a Separate Rate of 1-I.sth of a penny in the £; in the Otaki Ridinga General Rate of three-farthings in the £, and a Separate Rate of l-15th of a penny in the £; and in the Te Horo Riding a General Rate of one and one-twelfth pence in the £, and a Separate Rate of 1-13 th of a penny in the £; all upon tho Capital Value of all the rateable value of all the rateable 7>roperties in the respective Ridings.
