For the convenience of the farming community, "The Chronicle" is reprinting from day to day, daring the autumn season, the quotations of prices current as issiad by the Farmers' Distributing C'ciupany:— ; WELLINGTON, April 22. The market for potatoes is unaltered from last week. We strongly urge all growers not to send forward shipments of blighted potatoes, as there is absolutely no sale for them here. Eggs continue to be very scarce, and we Jiave to-day realised up to 2s 2d per dozen for a special line. "Wβ recommend larger shipments of both fresh and preserved eggs. Butter is much firmer in price, and consignments are recommended. _ Tho market continues glutted with marrows, and shipments should not be sent forward. Dessert pears, good sorts, aro finding a very good market. Apples still continue to arrive in large quantities, and prices aro unaltered, except for first-class lines of Cox's Orange Pippins. Tomatoes of very medium quality are still coming to hand and realising good values. Potatoes, medium, £4 10s to £5 10s; others. £3 per ton. Onions, £4 to £4 10s per ton. Garlic, 4d per lb. Cabbage, choice 5s 6d, ordinary Is 6d to 3s Gd per sack. Green peas, 8d per peck. Carrots, Hutt, 8d dozen. Turnips, wliite 4d dozen. Swedes, 2s per sack. Vegetable marrows, Od per sack. Market glutted. * Pumpkins, 3s to 3s 9d sack. Lettuce, choice, 3s; fair, Cd to Is 6d per case. Spinach, best, 2s per case French beans, 3s per half-sack.
