At a crowded mooting at Bhnnfontein, capital of the Orange River Colony, it was resolved to start separate schools for teaching language on the basis of the Transvaal Education Act, thus raising an issue between the policy of General Botha (Prime Minister of the Transvaal) and General Hertzog (Minister o,f Education in the Orange River Colony).
