Ltd., report having received the following cable message from their London house under date of the 18th inst.:— "The list of arrivals is clcs:'d, and all your wools have .arrived in time except those per Karamea. Tho number of bales of new arrivals amounts to 431,000, of which 270,000 bales have been forwarded direct to manufacturers at Homo and abroad, leaving, with 9000 lwiles old stocks, 170,000 bales available for sale."' PALMEIiSTON~NORTH STOCK SALE. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report as follows regarding their sale at Palmerston North on Thursday:—We offered an entry of 5000 sheep consisting chiefly of aged ewes. There was a fair ' demand, and with the exception of two pens all lines changed hands. An average entry of cattle met with good competition, and all lots were sold.
