The New Smith Wales Cnion wrote stating that the American University team would leave for Australia on May 20th, and will consist of 2o players. It is proposed that they shall play five matches in New Zealand, two in \Yollington, and one each in Auckland. Christchiirch, and Dunedin. The arrangements of "dates was left to .the incoming Management Committee. " The New South Wales Union ask--d that the New Zealand Maori team should leave for Australia on May .'JOth, which was agreed to. The .tour will extend over six weeks. It was decided to play a practice match on .1 tuir- 3rd between the New Zealand representative native tivun for Australia, and a Wellington team. Wellington Cnion are to get two-thirds of the net gate receipts as rental of the groined. The selectors of the .New Zealand tenm were appended as follows: S. Wilson, Christehiireh ; H. ffa iris. Otago; V. R. Meredith. Wellington ; nnd I). Gallagher. Auckland. Tho team has to be selected not later than Mav 21st. and nominations are to be from Unions forthwith. Mr AYriy Palliser, representative of the New Zealand Union in London, cabled that alterations in the laws of the game prrviouslv decided lip-in at. the meet in <r of the International Board had been confirmed. ft w-as -h'l id.'d to instruct Unions to •oh pt the new rules.
