[l'F.l! I*I!KSS ASSOCIATION. | (Received This Dav, 0.1;"> *i.m.) LONDON, April 19. The crowd .v. jig "Anld Lang Syne" at the farewell demonstrations to Lord Selbornr. at Pretoria. A similar demonstration took place at Johannesburg. There was enthusiasm everywhere.
[Lord Selborne has been Governor of the Transvaal sjince the resignation of Lord Milner. He has made himself very popular with, all classes, especially with the Dutch agricultural community. .His departure for England follows upon the formation of the South African states Into a United Month Africa, and the appointment of Mr Herbert Gladstone as the Governor-General.]
