The total number of electors on the rolls is 2,150,339. The votes cast, not including informal ones, which are comparatively heavy, numbered 1,27(5,5)34, Labour scoring 033.382, Fusionists 577,104 aiud Independents 50,448. The per eentage of votes enst is r>8775, compared, with 51.48 in the. 190(5 election. Tn all the Statet, excepting Tasmania, where there \VM<. a slight decrease, the percentage is substantially increased, particularly in Westralin.
