The artistic '-bed-spread," which was exhibited at the recent bazaar for Mother Mary Aulcrt's Home, and which caused so much comment, was recently rallied, the holder of th- lucky ticket being Master James Callings, of Koxtnn.
A heavy gale was experienced here on Thursday morning.
The first of the weekly assemblies held by the Druids' on Wednesday n.hiht proved a distinct, success. Mr F. King made a capable- M.C. The secretary of the Entertainment Committee will be pleased to is.sm> invitations to anyone who has not vet received them.
Mr P. Oa<: has presented two geese to Hip Riflo Club, for competition on Saturday. The chub holds its annual general meeting on Saturday (to-day).
