"MIZPAH." Or Wednesday, the 20th instant, tho Taylor-Canington Dramatic Company will re-visit Levin and produce at the Town Hall its latest and greatest dramatic success, "Mizpah," «r "The Midnight Murder," a romantic and sensational drama that -has had a wonderful run in Great Britain and America. A Perth paper, in speaking of its presentment there says:—"Tho Bijoil Theatre avms crowded to the doors last night by an audience that welcomed the new drama "Mizpah" most enthusiastically. Mr Charlie Taylor and Miss Carriiigton are largely responsible for the comedy portions of -the play, and their performances of an Irish corporal who doen't want to got married, and an Anieri'-a-u widow who does, are best described as furiously funny. The performers to whom the serious characters of the piece were entrusted, played their parts in a manner that commanded interest -ind carried conviction, whilst ths sensational situations of the play were presented most off-etivelv. Tho drama is staged most be iiitifully. the scenes illustrative of a tropical garden by day. and an American river bv moonlisrht. being wonderful specimens ef tlr- scenic painter's art. "Mizpah" may b> written down a success - a iiur.fi pronounced success."
