LADIES' SAILING RACE,

The ladies' sailing rare, which is being arranged for next Wednesday afternoon, is creating a good deal of interest nniong.st the members of the Boating Club. The restrictions governing the nice tiro: (1) that the boats must bo sailed by Imdies; (2) at least one male member of the clnb is to be carried in each boat; (.'I) the rules governing the club's sailing races to apply in th.\s contest. At present three owners of hnnls have signified their intention of entering for the race, so a keen contest is assured. The handicapping will be in the hands of Mr T. .fenman, who can be relied jipon to make the race interesting. As this is the first event of the kind that has taken place on the Lake, a large attendance of Boating Club members and their friends is anticipated.
