MASTERTON'S MUNICIPAL ACCOUNTS.

MASTERTON, March 30
The treasurer's report to the thorough Council last night showed the aenernl account to be in debit £5(337 12s 7d. The gasworks and several other special accounts had credit balances which reduced the overdraft to £2940 5s 9d. The treasurer had in hnml. on loan account for gas works, £1189 15s -fd. which loaves the net overdraft at dote at £1757 9s sd. The rates collected to date amount to £8-173 Ps 5;1. mid the balance uncollectecl (a portion of which is irrecoverable) is £80(3 Bs.
