Explosion on a Cruiser.
THE ADMIRAL'S REPORT. '/ 1 [by electric telegraph—copyright.] [per I'REBS association.] NEW YOKE, March 29. Admiral Hubbard reports that the accident on the United States cruiser Charleston occurred off Olangapo Island, and was due to the premature discharge of a three-inch gum. The breech-block was blown across the deck. Eight men were killed, and several were injured.
