POST OFFICE HOLIDAY ARRANGEMENTS.

EASTER, 1910. The following hours of attendance will he observed at the Levin P.O. on Good Friday and Easter Monday, 2oth and 28 th March, respectively. GOOD FRIDAY, MARCH 25. A close holiday will be observed in the Post Office. Telegraph Office and Telephone Exchange. All mails usually despatched on Fridays will be closed at 8.30 p.m. on the evening of Thursday 24th. EASTER MONDAY, MARCH 28.

The Post Office will be open from 9 to 10 a.m. iu all branches except money order and savings bamk. All mails for despatch on this day will be closed at 8 a.m. Telegraph Office and Telephone Exchange open from 9to 10 a.m. only. On Thursday 24th and Saturday 26th there will be a counter delivery of all correspondence from 7.30 to 8.30 p.m. There will be no delivery by letter carrier on Friday 25th and Moinday 28th. UNITED STATES AND FOREIGN MAILS. The next "best despatch" for the United Kingdom and Continent of Europe will be via. Brindisi, closing at Levin Post Office on Thursday, the 24th inst., at 4 p.m., connecting thence with the s.s. Manuka at Wellington. Mails for Canada, West Indies, United States of America, via Fiji, Fanning Island, Honolulu, and Vancouver, close at Levin Post Post Office at 11.15 a.m. on Tuesday, April 12th. Note.—Friday, the 25th being a close holiday, the usual weekly mail for the United Kingdom and Australia will close on Thursday, 24tli inst., as notified above. H. H. CORK, Postmaster, Levin. WERAROA POST OFFICE. The next best despatch for tho United Kingdom aind Continent "of Europe, via Brindisi, per Manuka, will close at Weraroa on Thursday, 24th, at 4.15 p.m. The Sydney boat leaves Wellington at 11 p.m. on Thursday, instead of on Friday, as usual. The next beest despatch for Canada and United States of' America will be via Fiji, Fanning Islamd, Honolulu and Vancouver, closing at Weraroa at 11.20 a.m. on Tuesday, April 12th. Good Friday will be observed at the Weraroa office as a Sunday. Mails usually despatched on Fridays will be cjosed on Thursday-at 8 p.m., and will be despatched on Saturday morning. All receiving boxes will be closed on Thursday night. A counter delivery of correspondence will be made between 7.15 p.m. and 8.15 p.m. on this date (24th). On Saturday, March 26, the office will be open for business as usual. On Easter Monday, March 28th, the office will be opened between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m., for all business excepting money order and savings bank work. All mails usually closing on Monday will be closed on Saturday night, and despatched by first mail on Monday morning. A clearance of boxes will be made"on Saturday night. A counter delivery of correspondence will be made on Saturday night, between the hours of '7.15 p.m. and 8 p.m. No delivery by letter carrier will be made on Easter Monday. A. L. INDER, Postmistress.
